We are pleased to announce and introduce Barbara Wool, who is joining our team as the Clinical Operations Manager. She will work closely with all providers and be responsible for the medical clinical staff. Barbara will help us manage the growth and development of our medical operations, to include coordination of staffing needs, process improvements and maintenance of quality care to our patients. Barbara comes to us with a background that includes experience in patient centered care, staff development, cardiology, clinical IT and management. Most recently, she was a Nurse Practice Educator/Infection Control Coordinator with Genesis Healthcare. She was the Manager of Cardiopulmonary, Staff Development and Clinical IT at Jersey Shore Hospital for ten years to include daily management of staffing, operational direction and management of quality initiatives. Barbara's nursing degrees are from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN (MSN, Nursing) and Mansfield University (BSN).
Barb Vanaskie has been promoted to manager of Behavioral Health services. As you may be aware, Barb has been with the Center for over four years. She has successfully tackled new roles and responsibilities along way. Now, as a manager, she will significantly contribute to the overall growth and direction of the department while continuing to practice as our License Clinical Social Worker.
Max Houseknecht will be stepping into the CFO role which should allow for a smooth transition for us and our financial operations. Max will finally be able to put the other half of his duel degree (BS in Accounting and Management Information Systems) to good use for us.
